A fun filled month

Hello All,

Its amazing how fast a month goes, we have been filled up with all sorts of good stuff this past month so therefore we have lots of good pictures ranging from a baptism to a family wedding and finally some grade A family photos. Renee is doing absolutely fabulous and so are mommy and daddy.

Renee has reintroduced us to a full night sleep, giving herself at least 10 hours of sleep between her last feeding, usually around 7, and her next feeding which is at around 5:30-6:00. She now weighs about 12 lbs 5 ounces and is 23 inches long. She is beginning to roll over more and more as she decided to do it three days in a row this week. She is talking so much and it has actually become more frequent where she just wants us to be quiet so that we can listen to her wonderful stories. Well I am going to leave it at that for now and let you enjoy all the pictures that I have added on.

Baptism:

Sept 3rd , 2007 at Sacred Heart Church in Delta.

We were blessed with most of the MacKenzie family being there because of Sara and Chad's wedding just a few days earlier. Father Leo from the church performed the service and after that we returned to our place where we enjoyed all sorts of platters and drinks until the late hours of the afternoon.

Renee also was blessed with two wonderful god parents, Sara dePol (Steph's sister) and Ray Van Marrewyk (my big bro)

These are Ron's grandparents five little precious granddaughters, starting from the left, Jenna and Emily West, followed by Taylor and Danica Van Marrewyk, and finally little Renee. Good thing there is still room on that couch for more in the future.

Family MacKenzie together at our home in BC always cool to see

Brad and Brenda West holding Renee at the baptism celebration

Proud Oma and Opa

Proud Nana and Grandpa

That thumb is a saving grace I tell ya!!!!

This is Heather and Bruce MacKenzie (Steph's Brother) and there little daughter on the right Bryar, she is actually 5 days younger than Renee so these cousins should be able to stir stuff up whenever we are visiting Ontario or when they come over here, no barbies though only soccer balls

It looked like every second with his two new granddaughters was a proud moment for Grandpa.

Aunt Sue and Uncle Bryan also made the trek out to BC for the wedding so they were also able to par-take in the Baptism which was awesome-and I promise your scotch will still be here when you come back in a few years Bryan

Uncle Ron and Aunt Donna were also around for the weekend however Donna left for Saskatchewan ealier that weekend

The newlyweds also came down and we were happy to have them there just two days after getting hitched

These are all pictures from the wedding which was beautiful to say the least, it was magical how it all came together.

Just look at the next three pictures as they were all taken within 10 seconds

Proud Papas
Not everyday that we can get all spiced up and get photos taken, thanks to Noelle for Renee's beautiful pink dress
The three MacKenzie Ladies (Noelle, Nana, and Patti-two of Steph's sisters from Ontario)

Papa had to provide the food while mommy was at the head table being a beautiful bridesmaid
Aunt Noelle reading a wonderful story to Renee

Pics from the last few weeks

Bryar and Renee chillin in the play dome
I am loving these types of pics, she loves her tummy so why not take the pictures of her while she is in her most comfortable position
We wish she was as good in the tub as Bryar is but she is getting better at not pooping in the tub
A trip down to Centennial beach in Delta on a Tuesday afternoon to have a picnic and an afternoon getaway
Her first feel of cool sea water, it was warmer water as the tide had just come in and it is quite shallow for quite some distance

Well until the next installment. Hope all is well and as the summer ends and fall begins, Enjoy the fall colors and more family time as indoor events become more frequent again.
Love from Renee, Stephanie, and Ron

From the TV Room floor to Stanley Park Beach, all in a days work

Week 7 was sure a fun one, as she played alot and we took advantage of it and went out for a night on the town. Friday night we went to Granville Island for a wonderful boat ride from the downtown core to Granville island (they are just little water taxi's, but enjoyable none the less) where we went for a very special dinner. At dinner we took advantage of a three hour window that Renee gave us between feedings and just chilled at the dinner table talking about my work, friends, family and parenting strategies. The following morning we took to the road and went for a three hour walk along the beach of Stanley Park and then capped it off with another little trip across the water to Granville Island for a wonderful Chicken Taco Salad from the farmers market that is there.

Nick, April, and Abby - the pics we have from the bbq will be on the week 8 installment of the blog ;)

My own version of a farmers tan

Proud papas: Intro's Nick is holding Renee and I am holding 10 month old Abby. Heather, can you believe that our little girls are going to be this big in under 9 months, shocking.

Don't start expecting updates each week, this was just a special week for our family so we wanted to share the pics sooner than later.
Some breaking news on the Renee front for the last two nights and today: She is now at 7:45 to 8 hours with her night sleeps; She had a doosy of a explosion that had some serious velocity to it; and today she rolled over for the third time and we got some real good pics of the process that she goes through in order to turn her self round.
Talk to you all soon, and please don't be shy, we love hearing from those reading the blog just because I then feel like it is worth doing!!!!
Love Renee, Stephanie, and Ron
